# Gimbal Engine vs AOCHUAN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gimbal Engine at 67% against AOCHUAN's 23%. Gimbal Engine also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). AOCHUAN's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and rating (2.9 vs 2.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AOCHUAN holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AOCHUAN has 117 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Gimbal Engine's written reviews are positive against 23% of AOCHUAN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gimbal Engine ships an update every 6 months, AOCHUAN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
