# Conversion Calculator Plus vs Units

The clearest difference is ads: Units at none against Conversion Calculator Plus's shown. Units also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and device support (4 vs 2). Conversion Calculator Plus's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (69% vs 45%). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Conversion Calculator Plus sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Units sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Units holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Conversion Calculator Plus has 15K ratings behind it against 261, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Conversion Calculator Plus's written reviews are positive against 45% of Units's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Conversion Calculator Plus ships an update every 6 days, Units every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
