# AVDI Assist vs ALS Case

The clearest difference is update cadence: ALS Case at every 4 weeks against AVDI Assist's every 3 months. AVDI Assist's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AVDI Assist ships an update every 3 months, ALS Case every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
