# CaptApp vs PRLTA

The clearest difference is rating: PRLTA at 5.0 against CaptApp's 4.5. PRLTA also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). CaptApp's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.1 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PRLTA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CaptApp has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CaptApp ships an update monthly, PRLTA every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
