# Delayed Camera vs XbotGo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Delayed Camera at 80% against XbotGo's 32%. Delayed Camera also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 15) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). XbotGo's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XbotGo sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Delayed Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

XbotGo holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XbotGo has 1.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Delayed Camera's written reviews are positive against 32% of XbotGo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Delayed Camera ships an update every 3 months, XbotGo fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
