# Eyecon Phone + Reverse Lookup vs Contacts

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Contacts at none against Eyecon Phone + Reverse Lookup's 5. Contacts also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 31%) and device support (3 vs 1). Eyecon Phone + Reverse Lookup's advantage is ratings volume (7.4K vs 78) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eyecon Phone + Reverse Lookup sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Contacts asks for nothing beyond the download.

Eyecon Phone + Reverse Lookup holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eyecon Phone + Reverse Lookup has 7.4K ratings behind it against 78, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Eyecon Phone + Reverse Lookup's written reviews are positive against 50% of Contacts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eyecon Phone + Reverse Lookup ships an update every 4 weeks, Contacts every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
