# 通讯录助手 vs T9 Dial

The clearest difference is rating: 通讯录助手 at 5.0 against T9 Dial's 3.4. 通讯录助手 also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). T9 Dial's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 36%) and ratings volume (18 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 通讯录助手 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and T9 Dial sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

通讯录助手 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: T9 Dial has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of 通讯录助手's written reviews are positive against 78% of T9 Dial's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

通讯录助手 ships an update weekly, T9 Dial every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
