# Del Taco vs Frish

The clearest difference is monetization model: Frish at free against Del Taco's free with in-app purchases. Frish also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Del Taco's advantage is ratings volume (43K vs 1) and chart position (#136 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Frish holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Del Taco has 43K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Del Taco ships an update every 5 weeks, Frish monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
