# Scenebot vs Acthound

The clearest difference is rating: Scenebot at 3.8 against Acthound's 3.0. Scenebot also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scenebot holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scenebot has 348 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Scenebot's written reviews are positive against 50% of Acthound's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scenebot ships an update monthly, Acthound every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
