# ThreeTimer vs Min & Sec Timer

The clearest difference is monetization model: Min & Sec Timer at free against ThreeTimer's free with in-app purchases. Min & Sec Timer also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). ThreeTimer's advantage is iOS requirement (9.2 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThreeTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Min & Sec Timer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThreeTimer ships an update every 2 months, Min & Sec Timer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
