# GigSpot vs Divadeep

GigSpot and Divadeep both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Divadeep's written reviews are positive against 22% of GigSpot's. Divadeep also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). GigSpot's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Divadeep holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GigSpot has 1.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 22% of GigSpot's written reviews are positive against 100% of Divadeep's.

GigSpot ships an update every 3 months, Divadeep every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
