# Dice Roller vs MemDeck

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MemDeck at 100% against Dice Roller's 46%. MemDeck also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Dice Roller's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dice Roller sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and MemDeck sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MemDeck holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dice Roller has 3.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of Dice Roller's written reviews are positive against 100% of MemDeck's.

Dice Roller ships an update every 2 weeks, MemDeck every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
