# BitCam vs Streamplace

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Streamplace at none against BitCam's 2. Streamplace also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). BitCam's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (92 vs 4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BitCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Streamplace asks for nothing beyond the download.

Streamplace holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BitCam has 92 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BitCam ships an update every 2 weeks, Streamplace every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
