# BitCam vs reFaced

The clearest difference is monetization model: reFaced at free against BitCam's free with in-app purchases. reFaced also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). BitCam's advantage is ratings volume (92 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BitCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and reFaced sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

reFaced holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BitCam has 92 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BitCam ships an update every 2 weeks, reFaced fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
