# Voicy vs PostPrime

The clearest difference is rating: Voicy at 4.9 against PostPrime's 4.3. Voicy also leads on ratings volume (234 vs 63). PostPrime's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (83% vs 56%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voicy sells 43 one-off in-app purchases and PostPrime sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Voicy holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 234 and 63 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Voicy's written reviews are positive against 83% of PostPrime's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Voicy ships an update weekly, PostPrime every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
