# Safe Students vs Bunpo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Safe Students at none against Bunpo's 10. Safe Students also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). Bunpo's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (18K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bunpo sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Safe Students asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Safe Students against 4.9 for Bunpo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bunpo has 18K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
