# FastCast. vs XIL Fly

The clearest difference is rating: FastCast. at 3.9 against XIL Fly's 1.0. FastCast. also leads on ratings volume (313 vs 1). XIL Fly's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FastCast. sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. XIL Fly asks for nothing beyond the download.

FastCast. holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FastCast. has 313 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of FastCast.'s written reviews are positive against 50% of XIL Fly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FastCast. ships an update every 2 months, XIL Fly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
