# SnipBack vs XbotGo

The clearest difference is rating: XbotGo at 4.5 against SnipBack's 4.0. XbotGo also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 26) and chart position (#166 vs unranked). SnipBack's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 32%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnipBack sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and XbotGo sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

XbotGo holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XbotGo has 1.5K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of SnipBack's written reviews are positive against 32% of XbotGo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SnipBack ships an update every 3 days, XbotGo fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
