# Puppet Bird vs Pull

The clearest difference is ads: Puppet Bird at none against Pull's shown. Puppet Bird also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks) and review sentiment (75% vs 64%). Pull's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 4). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Puppet Bird sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pull sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pull holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pull has 2.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Puppet Bird's written reviews are positive against 64% of Pull's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Puppet Bird ships an update every 9 days, Pull every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
