# MyPigeon App vs RandoRoll

The clearest difference is rating: RandoRoll at 5.0 against MyPigeon App's 4.6. RandoRoll also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). MyPigeon App's advantage is ratings volume (259 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyPigeon App sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and RandoRoll sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RandoRoll holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyPigeon App has 259 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyPigeon App ships an update fortnightly, RandoRoll every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
