# Schoolcraft College vs EMCE

The clearest difference is rating: Schoolcraft College at 4.5 against EMCE's 2.7. EMCE's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (49 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Schoolcraft College holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EMCE has 49 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Schoolcraft College's written reviews are positive against 43% of EMCE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Schoolcraft College ships an update every 3 months, EMCE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
