# MPT4U vs Mr.FOX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mr.FOX at 77% against MPT4U's 13%. Mr.FOX also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). MPT4U's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mr.FOX sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. MPT4U asks for nothing beyond the download.

MPT4U holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MPT4U has 227 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of MPT4U's written reviews are positive against 77% of Mr.FOX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MPT4U ships an update every 3 months, Mr.FOX fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
