# KORG iWAVESTATION vs SynthMaster One

The clearest difference is price: SynthMaster One at $9.99 against KORG iWAVESTATION's $29.99. SynthMaster One also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

KORG iWAVESTATION costs $29.99 and SynthMaster One $9.99 up front. KORG iWAVESTATION sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SynthMaster One sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SynthMaster One holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SynthMaster One has 743 ratings behind it against 134, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of KORG iWAVESTATION's written reviews are positive against 64% of SynthMaster One's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KORG iWAVESTATION ships an update every 5 months, SynthMaster One every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
