# Strayer vs myBSC Connect

Strayer and myBSC Connect both sit at 3.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 50% of myBSC Connect's written reviews are positive against 9% of Strayer's. Strayer's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (275 vs 6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Strayer holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strayer has 275 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of Strayer's written reviews are positive against 50% of myBSC Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Strayer ships an update monthly, myBSC Connect every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
