# Acronis Cyber Protect vs MSP360 Control

The clearest difference is rating: Acronis Cyber Protect at 4.2 against MSP360 Control's 2.8. Acronis Cyber Protect also leads on ratings volume (70 vs 12). MSP360 Control's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Acronis Cyber Protect holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Acronis Cyber Protect has 70 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Acronis Cyber Protect's written reviews are positive against 15% of MSP360 Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
