# FAI Acquisition Challenge vs EBSCO Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: EBSCO Mobile at 3.6 against FAI Acquisition Challenge's 2.5. EBSCO Mobile also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 53 months) and ratings volume (78 vs 2). FAI Acquisition Challenge's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 32%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EBSCO Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EBSCO Mobile has 78 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of FAI Acquisition Challenge's written reviews are positive against 32% of EBSCO Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FAI Acquisition Challenge ships an update every 53 months, EBSCO Mobile monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
