# Moji Edit vs Brat Generator

Moji Edit and Brat Generator both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 50% of Brat Generator's written reviews are positive against 21% of Moji Edit's. Moji Edit's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (25K vs 43). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moji Edit sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Brat Generator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Moji Edit against 4.4 for Brat Generator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Moji Edit has 25K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 21% of Moji Edit's written reviews are positive against 50% of Brat Generator's.

Moji Edit ships an update every 3 weeks, Brat Generator every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
