# Full Moon Phase vs MDS Torah

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MDS Torah at none against Full Moon Phase's 5. MDS Torah also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Full Moon Phase's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Full Moon Phase sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. MDS Torah asks for nothing beyond the download.

MDS Torah holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Full Moon Phase has 20K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Full Moon Phase ships an update monthly, MDS Torah fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
