# Full Moon Phase vs Moonsense

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Full Moon Phase at 21K against Moonsense's 5. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Full Moon Phase sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Moonsense sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Full Moon Phase holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Full Moon Phase has 21K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
