# Kopter vs Unleashed

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Kopter at 94% against Unleashed's 55%. Unleashed's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kopter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Unleashed asks for nothing beyond the download.

Unleashed holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unleashed has 46 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Kopter's written reviews are positive against 55% of Unleashed's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kopter ships an update every 6 weeks, Unleashed every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
