# PSAware vs OfficerMetrics

The clearest difference is monetization model: PSAware at free against OfficerMetrics's freemium. PSAware also leads on review sentiment (22% vs 12%). OfficerMetrics's advantage is rating (2.2 vs 2.0) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OfficerMetrics holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 36 and 61 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of PSAware's written reviews are positive against 12% of OfficerMetrics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PSAware ships an update fortnightly, OfficerMetrics every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
