# PSAware vs Axon

The clearest difference is rating: Axon at 4.8 against PSAware's 2.1. Axon also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 35) and review sentiment (40% vs 22%). PSAware's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Axon holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Axon has 1.3K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 22% of PSAware's written reviews are positive against 40% of Axon's.

PSAware ships an update fortnightly, Axon every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
