# Pitpas vs EDR Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: EDR Connect at every 2 months against Pitpas's every 36 months. Pitpas's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pitpas ships an update every 36 months, EDR Connect every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
