# MyScript Notes vs SIPLAP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SIPLAP at none against MyScript Notes's 10. SIPLAP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). MyScript Notes's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (39K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyScript Notes sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. SIPLAP asks for nothing beyond the download.

SIPLAP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyScript Notes has 39K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyScript Notes ships an update every 10 days, SIPLAP every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
