# 生词本 vs VoicePro

The clearest difference is ratings volume: 生词本 at 2.6K against VoicePro's 1. 生词本 also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 生词本 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and VoicePro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VoicePro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 生词本 has 2.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

生词本 ships an update fortnightly, VoicePro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
