# Audtra vs Geonection

The clearest difference is rating: Audtra at 5.0 against Geonection's 4.4. Geonection's advantage is ratings volume (233 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audtra sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per year and Geonection sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Audtra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Geonection has 233 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Audtra ships an update every 4 weeks, Geonection every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
