# Hero Care vs Google Fi Wireless

Hero Care and Google Fi Wireless both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 36% of Hero Care's written reviews are positive against 9% of Google Fi Wireless's. Google Fi Wireless's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 32) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Hero Care against 4.4 for Google Fi Wireless. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Fi Wireless has 20K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 36% of Hero Care's written reviews are positive against 9% of Google Fi Wireless's.

Hero Care ships an update every 4 months, Google Fi Wireless monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
