# ChorusClass vs The Vocal Coach

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The Vocal Coach at 93% against ChorusClass's 28%. The Vocal Coach also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.4). ChorusClass's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (59 vs 18). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChorusClass sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and The Vocal Coach sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChorusClass holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 59 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of ChorusClass's written reviews are positive against 93% of The Vocal Coach's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ChorusClass ships an update every 3 weeks, The Vocal Coach every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
