# ChorusClass vs Dubnote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dubnote at 65% against ChorusClass's 28%. Dubnote also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). ChorusClass's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.3). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChorusClass sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Dubnote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChorusClass holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 58 and 164 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of ChorusClass's written reviews are positive against 65% of Dubnote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ChorusClass ships an update every 3 weeks, Dubnote every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
