# Addons Pro vs LiveKit

The clearest difference is monetization model: LiveKit at free with in-app purchases against Addons Pro's subscription. LiveKit also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). Addons Pro's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 31). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Addons Pro sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and LiveKit sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LiveKit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Addons Pro has 6K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Addons Pro's written reviews are positive against 78% of LiveKit's.

Addons Pro ships an update every 4 months, LiveKit every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
