# Superhuman Mail vs Ruune

Superhuman Mail and Ruune both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Ruune's written reviews are positive against 41% of Superhuman Mail's. Ruune also leads on iOS requirement (18.2 vs 26.0). Superhuman Mail's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superhuman Mail sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per month and Ruune sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Superhuman Mail against 4.7 for Ruune. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superhuman Mail has 3.7K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 41% of Superhuman Mail's written reviews are positive against 86% of Ruune's.

Superhuman Mail ships an update weekly, Ruune every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
