# Zingus vs Clashy Words

The clearest difference is ads: Zingus at none against Clashy Words's shown. Zingus also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Clashy Words's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zingus sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Clashy Words sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zingus ships an update every 9 months, Clashy Words every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
