# SnowHaze vs Raivo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SnowHaze at 77% against Raivo's 36%. SnowHaze also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.6). Raivo's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnowHaze sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Raivo sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SnowHaze holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 531 and 197 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of SnowHaze's written reviews are positive against 36% of Raivo's.

SnowHaze ships an update every 3 months, Raivo every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
