# DayCount vs Ago

The clearest difference is ratings volume: DayCount at 26K against Ago's 2. DayCount also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). Ago's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayCount sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Ago sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ago holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayCount has 26K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DayCount ships an update every 5 weeks, Ago every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
