# DayCount vs LangLang Live

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LangLang Live at 100% against DayCount's 47%. LangLang Live also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). DayCount's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayCount sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and LangLang Live sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LangLang Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayCount has 26K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of DayCount's written reviews are positive against 100% of LangLang Live's.

DayCount ships an update every 5 weeks, LangLang Live every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
