# Opinion.al vs A2 CNN

The clearest difference is rating: A2 CNN at 5.0 against Opinion.al's 4.5. A2 CNN also leads on update cadence (every 6 months vs every 24 months). Opinion.al's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 0%) and ratings volume (32 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

A2 CNN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Opinion.al has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Opinion.al's written reviews are positive against 0% of A2 CNN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Opinion.al ships an update every 24 months, A2 CNN every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
