# Via Driver vs DESTY

The clearest difference is rating: Via Driver at 4.3 against DESTY's 3.7. Via Driver also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 6). DESTY's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 22%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Via Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Via Driver has 4.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Via Driver's written reviews are positive against 50% of DESTY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Via Driver ships an update every 3 weeks, DESTY monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
