# Annke Vision vs HYU

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Annke Vision at 20K against HYU's 80. Annke Vision also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months) and review sentiment (38% vs 29%). HYU's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HYU holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Annke Vision has 20K ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Annke Vision's written reviews are positive against 29% of HYU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Annke Vision ships an update every 2 months, HYU every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
