# Controlled Breathing Assistant vs Prezens

The clearest difference is rating: Controlled Breathing Assistant at 4.6 against Prezens's 4.0. Controlled Breathing Assistant also leads on ratings volume (51 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Controlled Breathing Assistant sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Prezens sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Controlled Breathing Assistant holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Controlled Breathing Assistant has 51 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Controlled Breathing Assistant's written reviews are positive against 96% of Prezens's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Controlled Breathing Assistant ships an update every 6 weeks, Prezens every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
