# Samorost 3 vs AntVentor

The clearest difference is price: AntVentor at Free against Samorost 3's $9.99. AntVentor also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). Samorost 3's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (568 vs 9). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

AntVentor is free to download; Samorost 3 costs $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Samorost 3 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Samorost 3 has 568 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Samorost 3's written reviews are positive against 100% of AntVentor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Samorost 3 ships an update every 7 months, AntVentor every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
